The AARMENA
provides a unique overview of the worldwide research on reconciliation, conflict transformation, and peacebuilding in transdisciplinary approaches. The AARMENA research applies a transdisciplinary perspective, linking Political Science, Psychology, History, Sociology, Law, Religion, Theology, Economics, Anthropology, and digital humanities.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is currently more affected by wars and gross human rights violations than any other region. This context requires innovative and promising approaches to promoting peace must be developed and integrated into the higher education system within the region.
Reconciliation, Peacebuilding, and Conflict Transformation Studies are state-of-the-art approaches to transforming violent conflicts and triggering a social and cultural change into transformative action. The development of Peace, Reconciliation, and Conflict Transformation Studies in the MENA region would transform many disciplines and the communities positively affected by their incorporation. The importance of this integration was acknowledged after the inauguration of the AARMENA, where 45 Professors from 30 different Arab universities in the MENA region became members of the AARMENA. Today, we are working together to build capacity in the field of Higher Education (HEI) in Peace, Reconciliation, and Conflict Transformation Studies in the MENA region.
The research would introduce the integration of the reconciliation theory of the Hölderlin perspective for the Jena Center for Reconciliation Studies (JCRS) Prof. Dr. Martin Leiner at Friedrich Schiller University within the Elicitive conflict transformation and transitional shifts towards Many Peaces for Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Dietrich at the UNESCO Chair for Peace Innsbruck University. The theories would then be applied in the master's program built in the AARMENA Program for the Higher Education Institutions in the Middle East and North Africa. The data derived from this research would be developed in rigged data to use machine learning and artificial intelligence applications to develop stability and validity for the AARMENA program.
The AARMENA is researching with the University of Jodan, a program titled applied ethics in digital humanities, in which researchers applied artificial intelligence and machine learning as best practices in digital humanities. The program is part of a master's program in computer science at the University of Jordan.
AARMENA, with the university of petra team, is working on developing a capacity-building project that will develop research on reconciliation and peace studies, including curriculum building and capacities for teaching the program as a master's program at Petra University.
AARMENA activities are the following: 1. Joint Research Projects. 2. Ph.D. program in reconciliation, conflict transformation, and peace studies. 3. Reconciliation scientific workshops. 4. Symposium every two years. 5. Publishing Books. 6. Curriculum development for Higher Education Institutions. 7. Capacity building for Higher Educational Institutions.

AARMENA develops a book series in reconciliation, conflict transformation, and peace studies. Including other books published on reconciliation in the middle of conflict.
AARMENA depends on institutional funding and third-party funding such as the German Science Foundation and co-funded by the Erasmus Plus program of the European Union and Abbe Foundation.
